Blue Sky Business Planning Ltd's (Blue Sky) online service is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. We aim to provide a safe and secure user experience. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you submit to us remains private, and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

Aggregate Information about Blue Sky's Online Clients:

We gather information and statistics collectively about all clients using our web service, for example, the numbers of clients in different industry sectors. We only use such data in the aggregate form. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users and how we can continually improve our online services to create a better overall experience for our users.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small data file which is sent from a web server to a web browser when that browser visits the server's site. Cookies are used, with your consent, on the BSkyplans.com web site to remember your login. We reserve the right to use other tracking technologies in the future but if we do so, we will amend this policy to explain their use.

Curriculum Vitae

As part of our business plan generation service, we ask you to enter your management team CV details, via this web site, for inclusion in the plan. This data is stored in our database along with other details of your company. Although your CV will be stored online, it will only be accessible by Blue Sky and any person within your company/organisation who is able to login into our system using your ID and password. Your CV data will be made available as part of your business plan to any Private Equity Provider or network manager of investors that you give us permission to do so by a selection in our system. This data will be kept in our on-line database for the duration of your subscription period and any extensions you purchase. It will be deleted from our on-line system within two months of the expiry of your subscription / extensions. If you request us to do so, we will archive the whole of your company data, including your CV, for the purpose of restoring it, should you wish to use our system again. This database, including the information relating to you, can be accessed by any of our authorised staff or consultants retained by us for the purpose of management, repair or correction due to a software malfunction or upgrade.

You can update your CV at any time, using our system. The details of your CV can obtained by requesting a copy of the plan using our system function and can be found in the Management Section and the Appendices. You also have the right to ask Blue Sky to stop using your information by terminating your subscription before its expiry which will result in the deletion of all your company data. 

The Information We Collect and How We Use It

Your personal details, including your name, e-mail address and CV, are held and used by us for the following purposes:

1. For inclusion in your company's business plan which is being compiled using our system and included the management section and in the appendices of the plan.


2. For the purpose of making an initial screening assessment of the strength of the management team as part of an overall plan evaluation.


3. For forwarding your business plan data including your personal data to prospective investors where you have given permission.


4. For keeping you informed of Blue Sky services, news and other developments with using our system.

It is possible that Blue Sky could merge or be acquired by another business. If this happens, we may share the information that relates to you with the new owners of the business and their advisers. You will be sent notice of such an event. Other than in these circumstances, we do not and will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent.

We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so.

The Data Protection Act 1998

The information that you give us, including your CV and e-mail address, is termed "personal data" under the Data Protection Act 1998. We must therefore follow the principles set out in that Act when we process your personal data. All the personal data that we obtain from you is held on our central in-house database. Blue Sky is a "data controller" for the purposes of the Data Protection Act.

Please note that clicking on to links and banner advertisements may result in your transferal to another web site, where data privacy practices may be different to that of Blue Sky. Visitors should consult the other web sites' privacy policies as we are not responsible for, and have no control over, information that is submitted to or collected by these third parties.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be changed by Blue Sky at any time. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will set out those changes here, so that you will always know what personal information we gather, the purposes we might use it for and to whom we might disclose it.
